This winter was horrible for getting work completed on the house. We had to much snow for my taste and every time I had a chance to pick up materials from the hardware store the snow prevented it.

We can't wait for summer this year!!!
The only plus to all the snow is that I was able to finish putting up all the drywall and start to putty it. There is a lot of putty work that is needed because I cut some corners all over the place. But just means that I am not out of practice. Although some of the first coats were horrible and I did have to go back and bust out the power sander in some areas.
But the plus side is that we started putting paint on the walls to see everywhere I needed to "touch up" with filler. The wife actually picked out a color that I enjoyed, the best part is this new stuff you put in the paint to make it smell great. Our living room smells like fresh laundry now instead of latex.
