Now that the first tier wall is in place we started back filling in the dirt to the wall. We also took the time to begin "flattening" the second and third tier. My family learned how hard yard work can be and the importance of drinking plenty of water. When this work was being completed we started early in the morning when it was cooler and around lunch time only my older son and I were still out working.
But I can honestly say I lost so much water weight during these days that my pants didn't fit by the end of most days. We actually got a large amount of work done during this phase before my son had to head back home.
I wouldn't mind doing it again but really wish that my neighbor would keep his opinions to himself and fix the problem on his end. Remember this all started because of his water running off his roof.

| Everyone is working so hard. |
| So much dirt that has been moved. |
I am actually standing in the very back of the yard.
This shows how much of a incline the yard has. |
| The fence is being pushed in from the neighbors from all the garbage under his deck. |
| Rotted wood and very damp soil. |
| Planter box to catch water from the neighbors roof. |
| As stupid as I might look it could be worse. |
| This was pretty fun to do. |
| Not so much fun anymore, my back was killing me. |
| Second tier wall complete and planter ready. |
| We even started putting landscape fabric on the second tier. |
